I am very excited to start the 2021-22 school year and welcome nearly 1,200 students back to our hallways.
I will be starting my 27th year in education, having worked in the Washington (IA), Ottumwa, Ames, and Dallas Center-Grimes school districts prior to becoming a Warrior.
My wife, Lara, is a principal at Karen Acres Elementary in the Urbandale School District, and my step-daughter, Hannah, recently graduated from the University of Northern Iowa and is now living in Houston, TX.
We are so proud to continue to excel in the classroom, in the athletic arenas, and through our various performing arts and school clubs. We have opportunities for all of our students to grow and learn and to develop the skills to be leaders for our world. It’s great to be a Warrior!
