Waukee Homecoming Update
Homecoming 2020: September 21st – September 25th
As you may have guessed, some of Waukee High School’s homecoming events have been canceled due to COVID-19. School administrators, teachers, and the WHS Student Council have developed a modified schedule in an effort to make Homecoming 2020 as special as possible.

- Powderpuff Football
- Homecoming Dance
What Events Will Take Place This Year?

Dress Up Days
- Monday: Groutfit vs. All Denim
- Tuesday: Mathlete vs. Athlete
- Wednesday: Generation Day (Sophomores dress as babies, Juniors as parents/middle age, Seniors as elderly, and teachers as teens)
- Thursday: Country vs. Country Club
- Friday: Spirit Day (Sophomores wear yellow, Juniors wear purple, Seniors wear white, and Staff wear black)
Reverse Parade
- The Homecoming Reverse Parade will start at 6:00 pm
- Come out and drive through the high school parking lot to see our athletic teams, clubs, and band!
- Please turn right into the Prairieview Parking lot from the east
- Cars will be allowed to enter the lot from 6:00-6:30
Coronation
- 2020 Homecoming Court: Abby Cook, Vincent Hodges, Jakob Holcomb, Ellie Huisman, Kori Knox, Tatum Koch, Braden Menz, Grace Miller, Michael Mitchell, Bill Mukhtar, Grace Officer, Aaron Smith
- Homecoming royalty will be crowned at 6:00 pm on Monday, September 21st in the WHS Auditorium. Each member of court will receive up to four tickets.
- The event will be livestreamed here, on the Waukee High School YouTube.
Football Game
- The Warriors will play the Johnston Dragons at 7:00 pm at the Waukee High School Stadium.
- Seniors can enter the lottery to purchase a ticket through an email that will be sent to their WCSD account on Monday, September 21st.
